Expected to be released in Q3 2010, Vodafone’s 360 H2 smartphone leaks again just in time for the CES 2011 event. When everyone thought the LiMo platform dead and that the device would never be released, Samsung and Vodafone have decided to continue the project and make it official soon. According to GSMArena, the Vodafone 360 H2 is expected to make its appearance at the CES 2011 or MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2011.

The smartphone has been spotted and pictured by a tipster, which proves that the device is almost ready to make its appearance in the spotlights.

Manufactured by Samsung, Vodafone 360 H2 is the successor of the Vodafone 360 H1, which was released back in November 2009.

Also known as Vodafone i8330, the smartphone measures 125 x 60.8 x 11.7 mm and weighs 137g (battery included).

Even though its data sheet is not yet official, it is said that the smartphone comes with an upgraded 3.7-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

In addition, the 360 H2 will feature a 3D user interface, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

Obviously, the smartphone runs on the LiMo platform and it is powered by an ARM Cortex A8 1 GHz processor (PowerVR SGX graphics).

LiMo platform is developed by the LiMo Foundation and it uses Linux. Especially developed for mobile phones, LiMo is built around the core of the GNOME Mobile suite.

Other key features of the Vodafone 360 H2 include: HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, 3.5 mm audio jack, 16 GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), Stereo FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP and GPS with A-GPS support.

It also boasts an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus, LED flash, image stabilization and video recording capabilities (HD 720p@30fps).

No word on its price or release date yet, but the smartphone may be officially introduced in the coming days.
