LiLo Back to Being a Media Whore

I'm ashamed to admit that I actually expected more from Lindsay Lohan. Long live media manipulation. I had almost bought all that nonsense about LiLo being all clean, her brain completely refreshed, wizened up and ready to start over. I think it was a result of all those times her bitching mother Dina (who likes to think of herself as the White Operah) talked about how Lilo was happy and satisfied with herself, and peaceful, and healing, bla bla bla.

Well, I am ashamed to confess that I was actually thinking Lindsay was going to live a long, happy, drug-free life away from the media. Well, not that much drug-free - but at least reasonably clean.

The fact is, Lindsay seems to be back in her old ways and only a few days out of rehab she is already said to have brokered her first interview, with OK! Magazine, which - we all know - is extremely generous in financial terms when it comes to pulling media stunts like this one. And of course, the first thing that comes to mind is, how much did they pay her? Probably quite a lot, since she didn't only give OK! an interview, she also did a photo shoot for them.

"It's the most honest and revealing she has ever been" an OK! source declared for PerezHilton.com. "The pics are very natural. She even let OK! shoot her in her car as she left rehab" well, that's not saying much, seeing how even while she was in rehab LiLo managed to broker another photo shoot with OK! And even though they claimed the pictures had been taken without Lohan knowing she was being photographed, it all pretty much screamed "set up" from the very beginning.

Well, my illusions are all shattered in pieces...I'm actually going to turn on the TV every morning from now on and check for news of a Lindsay Lohan DUI bust. It's bound to come. I can feel it happening. If she can stage photo shoots in rehab and do the same thing exactly after she busts out, then I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that LiLo is still crazy, still obsessed with herself and with media attention. I'm beginning to wonder whether the much hyped father-daughter reunion is just as big a hoax. It may very well be. Stay tuned and we'll bring you the news as soon as they come out.
