Since Lindsay's birthday was coming up, she decided to leave the "Promises" rehab clinic for a while. It seems that dear Li-Lo wants to forget all her problems for a while, but we sure as hell don't. As a matter of fact, we're reminding them to you. Lindsay Lohan suffers from alcohol and cocaine addiction, and now, she also faces DUI charges. To beat the "bad girl" reputation that she has been labeled with, she immediately went to rehab. Moreover, she announced that she would extend her stay there.

Sadly, this meant that her Las Vegas birthday bash was out of the question. Instead, her mother carefully planned an alcohol-free party in California, which is set to happen today. For you see, today is Lindsay's birthday. As of today, she is 21 years of age. And you all know that in the US you are legally allowed to drink after the age of 21. However, in a very unfortunate way for Lindsay, her responsible mother Dina Lohan insisted that there will be no alcohol available at today's festivities.

Well, as I mentioned earlier, Lindsay has already left the "Promises" rehab clinic, and before catching a plane to California, she decided to take a short trip to the local mall. Her arrival coincided with the official release of Apple's iPhone, and Lindsey could not deny herself such an early birthday gift.

Although appearances can be deceiving, Li-Lo looked pretty much back to normal, sporting a casual wardrobe and a healthy smile. It's a promising first impression, but it didn't take Britney Spears long to get back to partying after she got out of rehab. And even if it turns out that Lindsay is truly reformed, that's still not going to help her beat down the DUI charges and the consequences that come with them.
