Ingenious designers prove that luxurious hybrids have more than one thing in common with the high-class fashion industry.

They have launched a limited series of one-of-a-kind, jaw-dropping clothes and accessories made from recyclable parts coming from a Lexus CT hybrid.

We will be able to admire the fabulous objects in the January 2012 edition of Vogue. Every item reveals a great passion for fashion, combined with environmental awareness. Eco-friendly designers have taken advantage of the fact that the Lexus hybrid is 90% recyclable.

Perhaps one of the most stunning creations is the Nomadic Sanctuary, a fashionable trench coat created by John Patrick using leather seat covers and cargo covers, as well as a great deal of plant-based plastic. Sustainable materials coming from unconventional sources help designers make the ultimate fashion statement.

The same goes for The Valve Collection, depending on valve lifters turned into spectacular jewelry, thanks to Eddie Borgo's talent and creativity, making us hope more expensive hybrids could follow the same sustainable transformation.
