Power users now have what they need to max out their systems, whether they are powered by Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processors or Advanced Micro Devices AM3 central processing units. The Crucial memory modules are the latest Crucial-branded products developed by Lexar and are completely compatible with 64-bit operating systems. The modules are, however, somewhat unsuited for less competent 32-bit operating systems, which will only detect a limited amount of installed Random Access Memory.

Lexar Media is a designer, manufacturer, and marketer of high-performance NAND flash and DRAM memory products under the Lexar and Crucial brands and offers products in all major flash and DRAM memory categories.

As the latest addition to the company's variety of products, The Crucial memory modules, while being non-ECC UDIMM, each have unbuffered memory capacities of 4GB DDR3 RAM memory, and their clock frequencies are of 1333MHz. This means that four such modules can combine into a total of 16GB memory on a strong-enough motherboard, allowing high-end users to fully utilize the capabilities of their processors and of their GPUs.

“Computer technology is constantly evolving, so we're committed to developing and offering a wide variety of Crucial memory products for both PC and Mac® system users. Our new Crucial 4GB DDR3, high-density modules speak to this commitment; these products enable users to take advantage of newer 64-bit operating systems, as well as the latest generation of Intel and AMD processors,” Jim Jardine, Lexar Media’s senior worldwide product manager, said.

As support for the products, Lexar also offers the services of the award-winning Crucial Memory Advisor online tool, a piece of software that can quickly find compatible memory upgrades with the only input needed being the selection of the system maker and model from a comprehensive list. The memory modules are obviously compatible with Windows 7 and will work well on any 64-bit Operating System.

The products come with a limited lifetime warranty and are available through select resellers worldwide (www.crucial.com, www.crucial.com/uk, or www.crucial.com/eu).

Hi, Just fitted a memory upgrade to a ACER Travel Mate 5510 system

Comprising of 2GB 200PIN DDR2 SODIMM PC-6400 CL6. X 2 Thus pushing

memory up to 4GB. This as totally transformed my old wheezing Acer into

something special, so responsive and quick well worth the price .

If you are considering an upgrade ,don't hesitate trust me. Tony.
