It seems that Lexar Media is not yet done with introductions, as its collection of memory cards continues to grow even now, with the addition of a certain microSDHC model.

One may think that Lexar's launching of the Echo MX and Echo ZX USB backup drives, and of the 128GB SDXC card, would be enough for a pre-CES show off.

Nevertheless, it appears that the company definitely hadn't finished its performance with just those, as it has now issued yet another official announcement.

The most recent press release deals with a new microSDHC card, one that complies with the Class 10 specifications.

It has a storage capacity of 32 GB and, as dictated by the Class 10 rating, has data speeds of up to 20 MB/s when reading and 10 MB/s when writing.

The company made this product part of the performance kit that includes a USB reader and software meant to make content management more user-friendly.

To be more specific, there is a pre-loaded software that lets one sync, manage and share stored content with a computer, via the aforementioned USB reader.

"We've seen a steady rise in the sophistication of smart and mobile phones, and usage trends show a convergence between communication and entertainment," said Jim Chan, product marketing manager, Lexar Media.

"Today's users rely on their mobile devices, beyond talk and email, for capturing live moments and downloading their favorite content – whether it's photos, music, or HD video – and they want the flexibility to store and share them on demand,” Chan added.

“It is with this knowledge that we've developed this convenient, all-in-one solution to enable users to not only capture moments and download content, but also to move these to a computer or social media sites easily," he went on to saying.

Those seeking to buy this 32 GB Class 10 microSDHC card will have to part with the sum of $149.99.
