Ken Levine, the leader of the Irrational Games team that created BioShock Infinite, says that there's still a chance that the video game will be launched on the PlayStation Vita handheld at some point in the future.

The developer tells fans via Twitter that, "RT @jamwa: @IGLevine What's going on with the Vita project? --I talked to both Sony and 2k about it yesterday. Trying to make a match."

It's unclear whether Irrational Games plans to create a straight port of the game or whether the company aims to deliver a new type of game experience that's tailor-made for the device.

BioShock Infinite is one of the best titles to arrive during the first half of 2013 and many fans are predicting that BioShock Infinite will be one of the main contenders for Game of the Year awards once 2013 ends.
