14 DAY TRIAL // The feud between Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin is about to be reignited. He aims to seek full custody of their son Tripp, arguing that she's not good enough of a parent for the child – and he plans to use her own reality show as proof.
Bristol Palin can now be seen in the Lifetime program “Life's a Tripp” where she, Tripp and her sister Willow try to make it on their own in a fabulous LA mansion.
The show was thrashed by critics but also by fans who believe Bristol is doing a poor job at raising her son. Her ex, the boy's father, Levi, thinks the same, which is why he's decided to seek full custody, TMZ reports.
The straw that broke the camel's back seems to have been that embarrassing moment in which Tripp called his aunt Willow a “faggot” on camera and Bristol's first reaction was to giggle uncontrollably.
“Levi Johnston believes Bristol Palin is a TERRIBLE PARENT – and the proof is in her reality show, in which she lets their son Tripp run wild, talk back, curse, and show no respect to his elders... so he's decided to take action and seek full custody,” TMZ reports.
Seeing his son use the f-word and his mother not even attempt to reprimand him in some way convinced Levi that Tripp would be better off with him than with Bristol.
“Now, Levi's had enough – telling TMZ, he's been watching the show and is 'disgusted' by his son's language and behavior. Levi says his son is on a 'downward spiral' and getting 'no real parenting',” TMZ writes.
“Levi tells us, Tripp 'deserves a better family' than what Bristol and the rest of the Palins are providing – adding, 'I love my son more than anything... and I will do whatever it takes to make sure he is raised the right way',” the same report notes.
Levi has already gotten started on the paperwork necessary to ask for full custody, and TMZ says that he's set on filing it as soon as he can, just to get Tripp out of his mother's house.
Levi and girlfriend Sunny Oglesby are now expecting their first child together. He's always denied being even close to a deadbeat dad, as Bristol is so quick to describe him in media interviews whenever she gets the chance.
