With Black Friday knocking on our doors, everyone looking to make a purchase at Apple has their eyes peeled to the company’s online store. But are they looking where they should be looking?

Currently, Apple is featuring a Black Friday promo on the main page of its online store, promising great gifts for everyone.

As revealed hours ago, Australia’s online store has already confirmed Apple’s plans for this year’s Black Friday discounts which, needless to point out, aren’t all that spectacular.

Still, if you want to nab yourself a brand new iMac, MacBook Pro or MacBook Air, now’s the time as Apple is shaving $100 off the original retail price. These offers will go live in The States tomorrow.

Now, if you’re not that picky about the “brand new” thing, maybe you’d like to head over to the Special Deals area of Apple’s online store.

There, the Mac maker is currently featuring an offer on a refurbished unibody MacBook with a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and an aluminum enclosure. Apple lists the following specs for this system:

Refurbished MacBook 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - Aluminum

- 13.3-inch 1280-by-800 pixel LED-backlit display
- 2GB memory
- 250GB hard drive
- 8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
- Built-in iSight camera
- Illuminated keyboard

The computer, a pre-owned unit that has gone through Apple’s stringent refurbishment process, currently goes for no more than $949.00. According to its makers, that’s $350.00, or 26%off the original retail price.

You can visit Apple here to pick up on this offer, and here for others like it.

About Apple refurbished products
Apple Certified Refurbished Products are pre-owned products that undergo Apple's stringent refurbishment process, prior to being offered for sale. They are returned under Apple's Return and Refund Policies.

While only some units are brought back because of technical issues, all of them undergo the company's rigorous quality-refurbishment process.

Service and support include 90 days of telephone support and a one-year warranty. You have the option of purchasing an AppleCare Protection Plan for your refurb, while shipping is free in the US.
