As if hype for “Les Miserable” wasn’t impressive enough, here’s one more video to get you excited for this star-studded, large-scale production. Check out the brand new featurette above.

It explains the difference between lip-synching and live performing and how opting for the former would have affected the actors’ performances.

By allowing the actors to actually sing their lines in front of the camera, their acting will not stand to suffer.

All in all, the featurette provides plenty of behind the scenes footage, but also a good listen at some of the tracks. It’s pretty awesome stuff.

“Les Miserables” stars Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen, and will be out this Christmas.
