A pump and water block assembly is piped to a reservoir and radiator

Closed-loop liquid coolers can become quite popular on the high-end PC market, since they don't need a large water reservoir and pump system. A good thing when some of those things are so big that they need to stay outside the PC.

Lepa has released the HDB240 closed-loop liquid CPU cooler, or rather brought it to Computex 2013 in Taipei, Taiwan (June 4-8).

It is made of a reservoir+radiator assembly and a pump+block assembly.

The radiator measures 240 x 120 mm (9.44 x 4.72 inches) and is 25 mm-thick (0.98 inches).

The HDB240 also has two Lepa 70D 120 mm fans.

Sadly, the compatibility with CPUs isn't as wide as we'd like, since only Intel chips are supported, thanks to the LGA retention module (LGA1150, LGA1155, LGA1156). AMD lovers will have to look elsewhere.
