3D displays are getting more widespread, thanks to to companies like Leowe, whose research and development efforts took them in the direction of ever improving display solutions.

Not many TV programs are in 3D nowadays, but that doesn't mean that companies can't make TVs that can convert them into that format.

This is precisely what Leowe sought, and achieved, with the new 3D TVs that it sent to Singapore stores.

The company prepared the Individual Compose series, coupled with the Leowe Active 3D glasses which, alas, are sold separately.

Speaking of selling things, these glasses are priced at S$359, which exchange rates say is the same as $281.63 and 205.82 Euro.

Speaking of selling prices, the 32-inch, 46-inch and 55-inch Loewe Individual Compose 3D TVs sell for S$6,058, S$9,558 and S$14,358, respectively.

In that order, that means $4,752.48 / 3,473.27 Euro, $7,498.23 / 5,479.96 Euro and $11,263.82 / 8,231.98 Euro.

Needless to say, those are not small sums of money, by any reckoning, so it is understandable if users expect to see more than the standard share of features.

What Leowe did was integrate a hard disk drive of 500 GB in each newcomer, along with DR+ streaming and the possibility to record media straight to that HDD.

There are also many audio options and set-up solutions, plus high-quality front panels made of non-reflective quartz glass.

Furthermore, Leowe threw in the Media net function, which makes it easy to view news, radio, videos and music from the Internet.

The integrated LAN interface plays, naturally, a central part in this, as does the USB port that permits accessing media stored on flash drives, portable HDDs/SSDs, etc.

All in all, the new 3D TVs have everything they need, down to the size, in order to act as full-fledged home theaters, instead of demanding that one buy a HTPC or whatnot.
