Apple's Leopard, the upcoming major release of the Mac OSX, is continuously brought in the spotlights because more and more users and analysts are talking about the product's release date. Although the company refused to offer a certain launch date, the speculations are quickly spreading on the Internet but they are also denied fast enough to let the stress increase. Let's have a quick analysis over the rumors that often sustained that Leopard can be released soon.

The product was first introduced by Apple's CEO Steve Jobs at the 2006 WWDC who sustained Leopard will be released in the spring of 2007. Because the time has arrived, all the users are waiting for the big Apple announcement but the company refuses to provide a certain date for the Leopard's release celebrations. The Internet users were first talking about February, sustaining Apple is preparing to release Mac OSX 10.5 this month because they already launched several beta editions and the final version is ready.

Now, March is the month that might be bringing Leopard, but it seems like the rumors are also false and we're all looking forward to April. Although April may look like the chosen one, there are numerous signs that Apple is preparing to launch Leopard in June at the 2007 WWDC. As you know, the spring is ended on June 21 while WWDC is scheduled for June 11 so it seems like this is the proper moment for the big launch.

Last week, on Friday, DigiTimes launched another rumor, sustaining Apple is now preparing for another major delay for the Leopard release because they are trying to include Boot Camp support to allow users to run Windows XP. This latest improvement can require several months of work so the product can be postponed until October 2007.

Today, Michael Gartenberg from Analyst Weblogst denies the rumors, sustaining he talked with an Apple representative and Leopard won't be delayed again.

"Reports coming in that Leopard's delayed until sometime in October. Just spoke with Apple who confirmed the reports are wrong and Leopard is still scheduled to ship in this spring as they previously announced. The rumor mill is wrong again," he said.
