Only yesterday, a leopard trying to jump over the fence of a factory in India ended up impaling itself when, rather than making it all the way to the other side, one of its legs got caught in an iron rod of the railings.

Luckily, the security personnel at the factory alerted the authorities, and the animal was successfully rescued. However, the leopard did suffer one very severe injury to its thigh, and hurt its abdomen, which means that rescuers had to take it to veterinary hospital where it received treatment.

Sources inform us that the leopard was a four-year old female, and that it took about three hours for the entire rescuing operation to come to an end.

Presently, the leopard's condition is stable, and the animal is expected to make a full recovery.
