During the promo tour for Martin Scorsese’s “The Wolf of Wall Street,” Leonardo DiCaprio hinted that he might be taking some time off in the future, to focus more on producing and, I assume, dedicate more time to the many charitable causes he’s involved in, while also living large as any man of his age and financial situation should.

From that to having various blogs and publications speculate on a possible retirement date for the talented and handsome star was but a step. However, we should probably hold our horses for a while longer.

Deadline reports that DiCaprio is looking into getting a new project off the ground, which he will produce through his Appian Way and most likely star in. Daniel Espinosa will direct and Warner Bros. will handle distribution.

The film is based on a crime novel in two parts by Jo Nesbo, “Blood on Snow,” written under the pseudonym Tom Johansson.

“It revolves around a hit man who’s forced to go into hiding after he fails on a job and finds himself on the run with his intended target, who unfortunately happens to be his boss’ wife,” Deadline says.

No other details about the movie are available right now but, if you read the above paragraph once more, you will probably note that it definitely sounds like a movie DiCaprio would star in. So, assuming everything goes according to plan and Leo stars in the thriller, Oscars, here he comes again!
