It pays to be one of the most talented and appreciated actors in Hollywood. Sure, it might not land you an Oscar (there’s always next year, Leo!) but at least it pays the bills, and then some. According to the latest, DiCaprio is the proud owner of a “WELL Certified” NYC apartment that comes with amenities well beyond your dreams.

It also comes with a reported price tag of $10 million (€7.2 million). However, with a net worth estimated at $200 million (€143.7 million), DiCaprio can surely afford to buy 10 such properties and still be well off, able to indulge in all kinds of things celebrities of his caliber indulge in.

Page Six reports that DiCaprio’s new home is situated in the Green Delos Building in Greenwich Village, Lower Manhattan, New York and has just 2 bedrooms and 2 and a half bathrooms. That seems like a very small place for this kind of money, but wait until you hear all the luxury functions it comes with.

First of all, it has a parking spot estimated at $1 million (€718,649), which, for a limited time, comes with another unit, an 8,000-square-foot (743.22-square-meter) duplex penthouse. However, when the penthouse is sold, DiCaprio will only be able to use the parking spot.

Secondly, Leo’s new home has vitamin C-infused showers and purified air and water, but also “a circulated aromatherapy air supply, posture-supportive heat reflexology flooring and ‘dawn simulation’ provided by a circadian lighting design.”

Us regular people just open the drapes for the actual dawn, not the simulation. As for the “posture-supportive” heated floors, we don’t even know what to say.

“Donna Karan’s Urban Zen is even providing a ‘wellness concierge to curate and coordinate your daily wellness experience’,” the report says. It mentions DiCaprio purchased this piece of real estate through the corporation name of Malibu Colony PCH Property, LLC.

In all fairness, you can’t fault DiCaprio for wanting the best in life, as long as he can afford it. Unlike other celebrities who, no doubt, live just as luxurious lives, Leo never shies away from putting his money where his mouth is, and is always donating to the many charities he’s involved in.

He drives an electric car and travels to the far corners of the world to raise awareness on a wide range of hot topics. Just as importantly, he’s not the flasher type, in that he doesn’t boast on social media or in interviews about his wealth.

Paying twice or even thrice than what a regular Joe or Jane pays on a house on a parking spot is probably an eccentricity he can afford, by all means.
