News that Nepal's tigers are really making a comeback as far as their overall population is concerned made Leonardo DiCaprio celebrate the success of conservation project carried out in these remote areas by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Thus, the celebrity posted the following message on his Facebook page: “Great news World Wildlife Fund and Tiger WWF! Tiger numbers in a park in Nepal have doubled since 2009. When you protects tiger habitats from deforestation and poachers, these big cats can make a comeback.”

Members of said green-oriented organization take pride in their achievements, yet explain that this boost in Nepal's tiger population was only possible because both local communities and high officials agreed to lend a helping hand to on-going conservation projects.

Hopefully, similar efforts to safeguard other endangered species will also soon begin to pay off.
