14 DAY TRIAL // Lindsay Lohan is now in the midst of her comeback, thanks to Oprah Winfrey’s generosity, as she was willing to work with her and give her another chance when no one else would. However, no matter what she does, it seems like LiLo can’t get people to focus solely on her acting career.
She’s now trying to get them to do that through the OWN docu-series called simply “Lindsay,” which documents her attempts at getting back to work, staying sober, and ridding herself of all negative influences in her life, including enablers and hangers-on.
As the series continues to air on the network, the tabloids are still filled with reports that, no matter what she says in front of the camera, when the world sleeps, she’s still the same Lindsay of a couple of years ago, still attention-hungry, still partying, still entitled, still drinking.
Earlier this month, for instance, Lindsay crashed a party at Leonardo DiCaprio’s house, Star writes in its latest print issue (story via CB). The two don’t hang out in the same circles anymore but, back in 2008-2009, when Lindsay was still an actress (as opposed to a “tabloid figure” as she’s come to be regarded these days), they did.
In fact, at one point, they were even said to have had a fling, which probably means that DiCaprio’s was one of the names blurred out on the list of the men Lindsay slept with. This would explain why he let her inside his house at the party even though she wasn’t invited.
Before the party, Star says, Lohan took part in a checkers tournament he hosted at West Hollywood’s Bootsy Bellows. “Lindsay wasn’t even invited, but she still showed up. Being a nice guy, Leo allowed her in,” says a spy.
Useless to say, DiCaprio regretted his good deed in a matter of minutes because, where Lindsay goes, drama follows.
“She was whining about everything, like not having a place to sit or not wanting certain people near her… if she doesn’t have all the attention, she throws tantrums. It became such an annoyance, he made a buddy kick her out 15 minutes after she arrived,” the insider continues.
The report doesn’t offer more details of the so-called incident, but we imagine that Lindsay and her entourage just took the party someplace else after it happened. You might have guessed it, but we’re not really buying into Lindsay’s new comeback attempt. We’re all too familiar with the story of the little boy who cried wolf and Lindsay, as Shakespeare says, does protest too much when it comes to her sobriety and her career.
Plus, there are rumors that the sobriety is just for show, to make the docu-series look “more serious.” What do you think: could Lindsay be lying again?
