Playing the role of an up-and-coming Wall Street broker who finds himself earning obscene amounts of money, Leonardo DiCaprio had to do a lot of weird stuff on screen. For those who have seen the movie “The Wolf of Wall Street,” this all makes sense.

But no matter how believable he was on screen, the actor insists that he's leading a clean life. Page Six has the story of Leonardo being questioned by a female fan at BAFTA LA's Saturday Golden Globes pre-party.

She asked him if playing the coke-snorting Jordan Belfort on camera put him off doing cocaine forever, which is a very sneaky question if you think about it. But Leo had his wits about him and didn't fall into the trap she set him.

As cool as a cucumber, he replied, “I've never done it in real life.” The 39-year-old actor has been in the limelight for over 20 years now and he's famously rolled around in some very high circles. He also has a fondness for dating models, known for their serious parties.

So it's a bit of a puzzler that someone as famous and as party-going as Leonardo has never tried cocaine. Still, “The Wolf of Wall Street” actor remains adamant about not doing heavy drugs. If it's true, you have to give the man credit for staying away from the temptation for all of these years.

It's not the first time Leonardo has professed a healthy life style, but judging by the debauchery and the hedonism being portrayed in the Martin Scorsese film, it's hard to picture its protagonist as an altar boy.

DiCaprio is currently enjoying a rise in fame due to this latest film he's done, having just picked up a Golden Globe over the weekend for Best Actor. Now his sights are firmly set on the upcoming Oscars, when it is believed he will finally receive a golden statuette. Good luck to him!
