Leona Lewis is nothing if not committed to supporting animal rights. In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, the singer admitted that she would trade her entire career for a worldwide ban on vivisection.

Leona Lewis is a vegetarian, and has many times spoken against cosmetics companies that test their products on animals.

What's more, she has taken the time to promote cosmetics and accessories not linked to animal cruelty.

“My makeup and hair people know I don’t use any brushes that use real animal hair, and we stay away from products from parts of the world where they’re animal-tested and not humane at all,” the singer reportedly told the magazine.

The singer is convinced that only nations that show compassion towards animals and do not abuse them in any way are worthy of respect and praises.

As she put it, “They say you can judge a society on how it treats its animals, and I think that’s very true – it all filters down.”
