Two of the greatest and most powerful voices of our times, Leona Lewis and Jennifer Hudson, have joined forces to record a new song that is bound to burn up the charts in almost no time. Called “Love Is Your Color,” the ballad is included on the soundtrack of the upcoming “SATC 2” and represents a first-time collaboration for the two, as OK! UK magazine informs.

Both singers were discovered thanks to two very popular shows, Lewis on Britain’s X Factor, while Hudson first appeared on American Idol. Their careers took a somewhat different path, as Jennifer was eliminated from Idol and worked her way up an Oscar win with her part in the critically acclaimed musical “Dreamgirls.” Now, the two are lending their beautiful voices for a ballad about love and how it’s all that matters in the world.

As per OK!, the only thing that could have possibly increased the hype around the movie would have been a collaboration of this magnitude. “The only thing that will get us through the wait for SATC 2 is gossip – and lots of it. So you can imagine our faces when we found out who is singing on the SATC 2 soundtrack – and then our excitement that Leona Lewis and Jennifer Hudson have recorded one helluva duet! Argh! The two divas, who are famed on both sides of the Atlantic for their emotional, big-voiced ballads, have joined forces for a song that's destined to move you in the new movie,” the tab writes.

It then launches into speculation as to where exactly in the movie the song might appear. “Called ‘Love Is Your Color,’ the two beauties make sure they get a good ol’ pull at the heartstrings in the track – so much so we may have felt a tear come to our eyes. Quite when the song will air during the new movie we’re not sure, but we’re guessing it’s going to be at quite a poignant moment judging by the lyrics. Wonder what that means for the characters? Is something really, really romantic going to happen? Or will it be something terribly sad?!” OK! writes.

Indeed, the song is one that’s meant to bring tears to the eye, and not only because of the lyrics but also because of the melody and the voices of Leona and Jennifer. Below is the single, enjoy.
