Artificial Life, the Hong Kong-based mobile content developer, seems to really love football (soccer), as the company has just released another new game that revolves around the popular sport. The game is called "Leo Messi-GOAL!" and comes after less than a week since AL launched the first official Bayern Munich mobile game.

As you might have already guessed, this latest title released by Artificial Life is inspired by Lionel Messi, the young Argentinean star-player of FC Barcelona, fresh winner of the Beijing Olympic 2008 Gold Medal with his national team.

Following an exclusive photo session with Leo himself, Artificial Life has managed to create a realistic game that features Messi's signature moves, 2D and 3D graphics that rely on motion-capture technology, advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and humorous insertions. Obviously, the game also includes classic football stuff, like fouls, free kicks, corners and penalty kicks. There are two gameplay modes (Quick Match and Championship League) and several difficulty levels, from Easy to Pro.

"The achievement Leo Messi has in the Olympics casts a bigger spotlight on Messi as a highly valuable player and is more than fitting for the launch of Leo Messi-GOAL!" says Eberhard Schoneburg, chief executive officer of Artificial Life, Inc. "We are delighted to contribute to his success with the first installment of this lively series of Leo Messi-GOAL!"

Football fans who are also mobile gamers can get the new Leo Messi-GOAL! from Artificial Life's website, found at this address. Soon, the game will be distributed via important mobile carriers from all over the world. Available for 5.99 USD (4 Euros or 48 HKD), Leo Messi-GOAL! is compatible with lots of mobile phones from all the giant manufacturers: Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Motorola and LG. Just make sure your phone is on the supported device list and you're ready to go score some goals.
