14 DAY TRIAL // Yesterday we reported that Lenovo was scheduled to unleash Yoga 8-inch and 10-inch slates on the Indian market. And today as expected the official announcement came, complete with pricing information.
Director for Consumer Business for Lenovo India, Shailendra Katyal made a case for the slates saying that “technology is part of who we are therefore it needs to transition constantly to keep pace with our changing lifestyles.”
“With this intent, we have re-engineered the Tablet from ground-up to offer users a better way to experience the Tablet.”
The Yoga 8-incher is now available for purchase for Rs 22,999 / $364 / €271 while the 10-inch model costs Rs 28,999 / $460 / €342, NDTV reports. Lenovo only provides the 16GB Wi-Fi+3G variant on the Indian market, so far. Customers will be able to grab the slates from major retailers in the country and from Lenovo’s own online dostore.com.
For those ordering online, the estimated shipping date is November 25, but that’s not all. Those ordering until November 24 will also get free accessories for the two models, worth Rs 4,000 / $63 / €47 and Rs 5,000 /$79 / €59, respectively.
