When Lenovo presented its G455 and G555 notebooks, the company also debuted the C315 all-in-one system. Like the two laptops, this PC is aimed at the mainstream consumer segment and is also based on AMD technology and Lenovo software. Thanks to its “dependable performance in a compact and stylish design,” the system delivers “affordable, dual-core, worry-free computing.”

The Lenovo C315 is powered by AMD Athlon dual-core central processing units and ATI Mobility Radeon graphics. The screen size of the all-in-one is of 20 inches and the display itself uses the high-definition 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. In addition, the device also features the NaturalTouch touchscreen technology, for a high level of interactivity.

This hardware functionality is complemented by the system's 4GB of memory and the Lenovo IdeaTouch, a suite of touch-optimized multimedia applications, such as VeriTouch, AutoCollage and PowerCinema. While PowerCinema is self-explanatory, the AutoCollage creates collages from any selection of photos on the PC and the VeriTouch “adds a fun and interactive way to log in.”

“Our new G series notebooks and C series all-in-one desktop are designed for users who want a simple but powerful computing experience without any headaches,” Dion Weisler, vice president, Business Operations, Lenovo, said. “By working closely with AMD engineers and leveraging AMD advanced technologies, we have created products that offer superior performance in the areas of graphics and power efficiency at an affordable price point.”

“These innovative Lenovo notebooks and all-in-one desktop solutions are prime examples of how VISION Technology from AMD helps our key partners design compelling consumer products,” Rick Bergman, senior vice president and general manager, AMD Products Group, added. “The expanded technology partnership with Lenovo demonstrates our commitment to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of the mainstream consumer market.”

The compact and stylish Lenovo C315 will enter US availability in April and will carry a price tag of $649.
