As expected, Lenovo held a press event in London where Hollywood star and Product Manager Asthon Kutcher had a lot of novelties to show us.

Like we were telling you a few hours before the show, Lenovo refreshed its Android tablet lineup and pushed out two new Windows models as well.

In total, there were four new tablets, two with 8-inch screens and other two with 10-inch screens. The tablets come with the characteristic hinge design that allows users to prop the tabs are various angles, but there’s a new addition.

The new models now take advantage of an extra “hang” mode which allows you to hang (obviously) the slate in kitchen, office or any other environment you find suitable.

As for specifications, the tablets are quite similar. All models offer full HD resolution (1920 x 1200) regardless of the dimension and operating system running on board.

Under the hood lies an Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core Bay Trail processor fitted with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, depending on the model you opt for (expandable via microSD card).

Other specifications include two cameras (a worthy 8MP one on the back and 1.6MP front-facing one), 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and optional 4G LTE.

Lenovo's new Yogas continue the tradition of long battery life

Lenovo’s Yoga tablet bunch is usually characterized by the long battery life and the new arrivals are no different. The 8-inch models draw their life source from a 6400mAh battery, while the 10-inchers rely on a hefty 9600 mAh battery.

Lenovo mentions the Android 4.4 KitKat models should be able to sustain up to 18 hours of battery life, while Windows ones should get to live for up to 15 hours. Not bad, at all.

The larger Yoga 2 tablets break the scales at 1.36 lbs / 0.6 kg while the smaller models weigh just 0.92 lbs / 0.41 kg.

You can tell the Android models apart from the Windows ones by virtue of coloring schemes. Lenovo has maintained the silver finish for its Android lineup, while the Windows bunch takes advantage of a stylish black finish.

If you’re interested in the new tabs, you should know the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 8 with Android plus 16GB of storage is already up for grabs for $250 / €196 while the 10-inch model with 16GB of storage sells for $300 / €236.

As for the Windows bunch, only the 10-inch with 32GB of storage is currently available for $400 / €314. The 8-incher should follow soon with a starting price of $250 / €196.
