From time to time, companies tend to inadvertently spill the beans on some of their yet unreleased models, and that's also apparently the case with Lenovo's new Thinkpad X220 notebook.

So, as Engadget reports, while not yet officially available on Lenovo's site, the Lenovo X220 notebook got a full, completely detailed PDF file, providing users with just about every little piece of information we might be interested in, from the available CPU options up to the estimated functioning life.

So, what we're dealing with here is a 12.5-inch notebook (a rather uncommon dimension), featuring an 1366 x 768 pixels display (with an IPS panel also available as a separate option), while in the same time offering users a wide choice of Huron River CPUs, from Intel Core i3-2310M up to Intel Core i7-2620M.

The notebook also supports up to 8GB DDR3 1333MHz of RAM memory (divided into 2 DIMM slots), while also sporting Integrated HD Graphics from Intel.

Countless storage options are available, whether we're talking about SSDs or HDDs, while the notebook also comes equipped with a large number of connectivity options, including an optional USB 3.0 port.

It's also worth noting that the X220 supports the addition of plenty of wireless networking options, whether we're talking about WiMax, WWAN Gobi or other types of modems.

Additionally, a 720p camera and dual microphones have also been thrown in the mix, enabling good-quality VoIP audio/video communications at all times.

Plus, in order to make sure that the X220 will provide a very serious functioning autonomy, the people over at Lenovo have also decided to add some pretty serious battery options, consisting of a 9-cell battery granting up to 15 hours of non-stop functioning life, which are pushed up to an impressive 23 hours life-span, when an external battery pack is attached.
