Lenovo made its Vibe Z smartphone official in India several weeks ago, but the device has become available for pre-order in the country only today, when the handset vendor added it to its official website.

The smartphone features a price tag of Rs. 34,999 ($565/€411) through the company's online portal and is accompanied by a free Z smart touch cover, which is worth Rs. 2,039 ($33/€24).

Lenovo Vibe Z arrives in India in Silver and Titanium versions and sports a 5.5-inch IPS touchscreen display that can deliver a full HD resolution. The mobile phone is powered by a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, paired with Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB of RAM.

Moreover, the handset comes with 16GB of internal memory and packs a 3000 mAh Lithium-polymer battery inside, capable of delivering up to 33 hours of talk time, or up to 27 days of standby time.

On the back, the new device features a 13-megapixel camera with dual LED flash, capable of recording videos in full HD resolution. There is also a 5MP front-facing camera included on this phone, great for making video calls while on the go.

Lenovo Vibe Z sports 3G connectivity inside, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS receiver. It runs under the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.

The new handset is set to become available for purchase in India through various retailers as well, and it has already begun arriving at some of them as well, as AndroidOS notes. The phone should start shipping to users in eight to ten days.
