The Microsoft Store regularly slashes off the prices of different products

Some days ago Lenovo pulled the wraps off its latest business tablet, the ThinkPad 10 but if you were looking for a slate with a smaller display, the company’s ThinkPad 8 remains a pretty worthy choice.

Especially considering that Microsoft Store has the slate on discount with $50 / €37 off, which means you’ll be able to grab the mini-tablet for $399 / €291. Well, that’s still $150 / €110 more than the Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet, but the Lenovo machines have its perks.

The tablet arrives with an 8.3-inch full HD IPS display (1920 x 1200 pixels) and draws life from an Intel Atom processor clocked at 2.4GHz. The slate arrives with 64GB of internal storage and runs full Windows 8 onboard.

The tablet comes with a nifty accessory called the Quickshot Cover. Lenovo realized a while back that it’s pretty annoying to use rear-facing tablet cameras when they have a cover on.

The QuickShot solves the problem by letting users easily expose the camera living on the back. Doing so will also cause the Windows camera app to launch automatically, while the flap remains folded by a magnet.

The only caveat is that you’ll have to throw in an extra $35 / €26 if you want the cover, because the accessory is not included in the bundle.
