Lenovo showcased its new multi-mode ThinkPad 8 tablet aimed for business users at CES 2014. The company has also posted the product’s first official teaser in order to show off some of the slate’s capabilities.

The tablet has an 8.3-inch IPS display panel with 10-touch points and 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. Its life juice is pumped by a Bay Trail processor (Z3770 quad-core) combined with 2GB of RAM and backed up by 128GB SSD (expandable via microSD).

Another highlight of the tablet is the innovative Quickshot Cover which enables users to take quick photographs in time to seize important moments.

So interested customers should know that the slate has already popped up on German online retail site, Cyberport for the price of €599 / $814 and customers can now place a pre-order. Sadly, the Quickshot Cover has not appeared at the moment.
