It appears that Lenovo has decided to confirm some of last week's rumors according to which the company plans to unveil a new ultraportable computer system that looks a bit like Sony's Vaio P-series netbook. Lenovo has just added a series of photos with the new device, called Pocket Yoga, on Flickr, thus confirming the existence of the system and also providing us with some of its features. Unfortunately, we still have to wait until the company officially launches the product, as no technical specifications are currently available.

Given its design features, the Pocket Yoga appears to have adopted a similar design to that of Sony's small VAIO P ultraportable computer. The VAIO P-like wide display has been combined with a leather-bound chassis to enable the sleek form factor of the system. This feature allows the end-user to carry the netbook in his pocket, making the Pocket Yoga an excellent computer companion, smaller than a netbook, but larger than your everyday smartphone.

Unfortunately, we have no details on the technical specifications of the device, but given its overall design, the Pocket Yoga could be powered by one of Intel's Atom processors. It will be interesting to see if the new Lenovo ultraportable will also be featured with an optional broadband connectivity chip, enabling the system to be used almost everywhere the network carrier has coverage.

Judging by Lenovo's decision to tease us with photos of the new product, we could say that the new Pocket Yoga ultraportable computer system is close to an upcoming official release. Aside from the device's technical specifications, it will be interesting to know the price range for which the company plans to sell its new netbook model. Aside from that, the device appears to be targeted at all those tech fashionistas. For a better insight into what Lenovo is preparing to release, be sure to check out the photo gallery below.

Totally useless...Keyboard too small to type, screen to narrow to use as a smartphone, or too wide to browse the net...size is bad when u place it in ur pocket...U cant sit, or do anything...total waste of time and money...

NOTE: Great if used as a door stopper

It could prove useful under certain circumstances. I would be annoyed to have to scroll up and down every single time I wanted to look at any kind of page. And worn like that, is it not an open invitation for the reckless to steal it?
