The smartphone features a 5.3'' HD screen, 1.2Ghz quad-core processor

Among the various Android-based smartphones that Lenovo made official in India on Wednesday, we can also count the Lenovo S920, in addition to the K900 and P780 handsets.

The mobile phone was announced for the local market with a price tag of Rs 26,399 ($468 / 357 Euro) attached to it, and with hardware specifications that match the cost.

The Lenovo S920 arrives on shelves with a 5.3-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a 720p resolution, as well as with a 1.2GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589 processor packed inside, BGRIndia notes.

The new device also sports 1GB of RAM, along with 4GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a 2250 mAh battery.

Running under Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as a front camera for making video calls.
