Since IFA 2014 will soon be upon us, we can expect a slew of new devices to show their faces at the event. And Lenovo is one company prepping something quite interesting.

As Notebook Italia reports, two new Lenovo products have showed up in the Indonesian database Postel and Bluetooth SIG, signaling that we should keep our eyes on the company’s booth when the event kick starts in Berlin.

Following in the footsteps of Samsung with its Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 and HP with its Slate Pro 12, Lenovo will soon offer a maxi tablet for business users. But that’s not all.

The device maker appears to be ready to enter the wearable game, so a smartband (codenamed Lenovo SW-B100) will soon be released under their banner.

Information is scarce around the web about the specifications of these devices, but those familiar with the Lenovo nomenclature probably know that they use the Yoga for two distinct family of products.

The first one is the Android-centric lineup that comes with a hinge design and allows the tablets to stand up on their own. The second one is of the convertible variety, coming with a keyboard and with Windows 8.1 out of the box.

So what will the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro be? We can speculate that the new product will from the Android garden (hence the tablet moniker) so it will not ship out with a keyboard companion (that’s why it will be comparable to the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO).

We already know the Yoga Android bunch will be updated with new 8-inch and 10-inch models, but it appears Lenovo is ready to add a maxi model too. This way the company will compete head to head with Samsung, which also offers high-end slates with the similar screen sizes.

The second uncovered product will be Lenovo’s first attempt of ever making a wearable. The filing describes it as being a “Bluetooth low energy Activity Tracker with optical Heart rate).”

Other specifications weren't provided, but it would be nice to know whether the device will be capable of relaying notifications or have a touchscreen.

We will probably have to wait until IFA 2014 to find out these details, but with only two weeks to go, the wait is not a long one.

Even since May it was known Lenovo will make an entry in the wearable ecosystem, but it appears the company will be putting off launching a smartwatch (with Android Wear or not) for the time being.
