Although the flow of new and interesting products coming from CeBIT 2011 is far from impressive (compared to previous years, or other shows, such as CES or IFA), we still happen to come across at least a couple of interesting novelties, such as the new IdeaPad S205 notebook from Lenovo.

As Netbooknews.de (who've been able to take a very close look at the S205) reports, this new IdeaPad model is Lenovo's first such product built on the AMD Fusion APU platform, and, as far as the exterior is concerned, is somewhat reminiscent of the company's U160 series.

However, things are quite different on the inside, given the fact that, unlike the U160 series, built on Intel hardware, the S205 adopts the AMD Fusion E-350 accelerated processing unit, that's actually starting to show up within an increased number of portable systems.

Apart from the 1.6 Ghz processing unit with built-in AMD Radeon HD 6310m graphics (coupled with an 1366 x 768 pixels display), the new IdeaPad notebook also comes packed with 4GB of RAM memory, a roomy 320GB hard-drive, as well as just about every type of connectivity and networking option one might expect from such a portable system (no USB 3.0 port though, sorry).

Also, carrying this thing around shouldn't prove to be much of a challenge, given the fact that it measures 29 x 19.3 x 2.6 cm and weighs around 1.48 kilos.

Pricing for the new notebook from Lenovo has apparently been set at just around 400 Euro in Germany, which is quite a good value, given the device's features, with the device being slated to become officially available on March 10'th.

P.S. As a bonus, here's a video made by Netbooknews.de, providing a closer look at the IdeaPad S205 (although, you should be aware that it's all in German, and there's still no automatic audio translate feature implemented by Google on YouTube, sadly).
