Lenovo Officially Intros the Dual-Screen ThinkPad W700ds

Lenovo announced today the highly anticipated ThinkPad W700ds Mobile Workstation, designed as the first portable computer system that can provide its users with a dual screen configuration. The company's new addition to the ThinkPad lineup combines some of the highest levels of computing performance with a unique design that delivers a range of functionalities, specifically required by professional users in areas such as digital content creation, oil and gas exploration, computer-aided design and photography.

The W700ds is built to equip some of the latest Intel high-end processors, optional HDD/SDD RAID setups, NVIDIA Quadro FX graphics, an impressive 8GB of DDR3 RAM memory, dual-link DVI/Display Port/VGA support, a 7-in-1 card reader, no less than five USB ports, WiFi, optional WiMAX, a smartcard reader and hard drives with full-disk encryption.
