At the end of January, Lenovo announced the signing of a deal with Google to purchase Motorola from the Internet giant, a move that led to a variety of rumors regarding the possible launch of a Nexus 6 handset with Lenovo’s name on it.

Nothing has been confirmed on the matter as of now, but that did not stop enthusiasts from dreaming of such a device, and one of then decided to come up with a Nexus 6 concept to offers us a glimpse at their vision of the device.

The mobile phone comes with a curved back and with an edge-to-edge touchscreen display, while also showing integration of Motorola features in Lenovo’s lineup. Moreover, as concept-phones notes, the phone sports slightly rounded edges.

The concept phone sports a 4.99-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a full HD resolution (though a 2k resolution might also be employed).

Inside, it sports a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, which should deliver appealing performance capabilities, especially if paired with the right amount of RAM.

The Lenovo Nexus 6 concept device also features 32GB of internal memory, dual speakers on the front, and a 7.4 mm thin body.

On the back, the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and support for full HD video recording, paired with a 3MP front camera for making video calls.

In addition to a thin design, the handset also sports a light message indicator on the back, none other than the big 6 that can be seen there. You can have a better look at the device in the video embedded below.

Overall, Lenovo Nexus 6 looks quite appealing, though there’s no confirmation that such a device will ever make it to the market. For the time being, take it as it is, namely the product of an enthusiast’s imagination, and don’t get high hopes on its release.
