Lenovo has produced two new additions for its Miix tablet line, just in time to showcase them at CES in Las Vegas. The company pulled out of the bag, the Miix 2 10 and Miix 2 11, two slates featuring a nifty keyboard that attaches to the screen via magnets.

Now the 10-inch version has been made available for pre-order on Amazon.de, so those eager customers who cannot wait to get their hands on one can get in line.

The Miix 2 10 comes bundled with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and draws power from an Atom Z3740 processor (from the Bay Trail family) paired with 2GB of RAM and backed up 128GB of storage.

Moreover, Lenovo has included a 2MP front-facing camera, micro USB, microSD card slot and stereo JBL speakers. The tablet will suit mobility seekers as it weighs 1.3 pounds / 589 g and is 0.31 inches / 7.8 mm thick. When the keyboard is added, you’ll get a 2.3 pounds / 1.04 kg hybrid.

The Miix 2 10 runs Windows 8 and ships with Windows Office 2013 Home & Student out of the box. Customers can pre-order theirs for €499 / $682.
