The company is targeting the business sector, so the devices are aptly priced

Business users in India might want to pay attention to this. Lenovo has just announced the official availability of an entire range of ThinkPad Ultrabooks (including the ThinkPad T440, ThinkPad T440s and ThinkPad X240s) and the ThinkPad S1 Yoga convertible, reports Efy Times.

Introducing the line was Executive Director for the Commercial Business Segment in India, Rahul Agarwal, who boasted that “ThinkPads are known for their reliability and pioneering innovation, and over the years the Think range of products have come to be highly revered by enterprise users.”

“The new models of Ultrabooks meet and exceed the requirements of today's workforce that needs portable, yet powerful computing devices.”

“As we continue to grow in this PC+ era, multi-media devices like these, will add a new dimension to our existing portfolio of enterprise products and redefine the concept of enterprise computing in India.”

Interested enterprise users should know the Lenovo ThinkPad T440 is a 14-inch HD touchscreen Ultrabook that lasts up to 10 hours on a single charge, allowing professionals to finish their work on the go.

The ThinkPad T440s model has pretty much the same specifications, but comes pre-loaded with Windows 8 Pro, as opposed to the model outlined above which only has Windows 8.

Moving on, the ThinkPad X240s Ultrabook is reportedly the thinnest and lightest of the bunch, weighing just 1.28 kg / 2.82 lbs and being 17.65 mm / 0.69 inches thin. The device offers a 12.5-inch HD touch display and can deliver up to 7 hours of life juice.

All three models are powered by Intel’s latest Haswell architecture, that adds increased performance and maximized battery life.

Last but not least, the Lenovo ThinkPad S1 Yoga Ultrabook convertible is a versatile device capable of flipping between tablet and laptop mode. It features a 12.5-inch HD touch display and is also powered by Intel’s latest chip standard. The hybrid ships with Windows 8.1 out of the box.

Lenovo offers the ThinkPad S1 Yoga at prices starting from Rs 80,000 / $1,291 / €942 while the ThinkPad T440 starts at Rs 78,000 / $1,259 / €918.

Further on, the ThinkPad T440s will sell for Rs. 90,000 / $1,453 / €1,060 and the ThinkPad X240s for Rs. 95,000 / $1,533 / €1,118.
