Today, Chinese mobile phone maker Lenovo finally made the long-rumored Lenovo K920 Vibe Z2 Pro official in its homeland market and also confirmed that the phone would become available for purchase in the country starting with the next month.

The new handset has been long said to launch with some of the best hardware specifications included inside, and the official announcement confirms this.

The Lenovo K920 Vibe Z2 Pro sports a large 6-inch touchscreen display capable of delivering a Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, while also featuring a 490 ppi pixel density.

Moreover, the smartphone is said to offer a 500 nits maximum brightness, which will ensure that it can deliver an appealing viewing experience even in sunlight.

The new Lenovo K920 Vibe Z2 Pro arrives on the market with a slim, 7.7mm body, as well as with a thin bezel next to the large screen.

In addition to the stunning display, the mobile phone packs a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, with each core clocked at 2.5GHz.

Paired with 3GB of RAM, the aforementioned processor will ensure that users receive high-end performance capabilities at all times. The smartphone runs under the Android KitKat operating system.

On the back, the new mobile phone features a 16-megapixel camera, with BSI sensor and Optical Image Stabilization, which is also capable of recording videos in 4K resolution. Apparently, various camera features will also be available on the device right from the start, so as to ensure great imaging functionality.

As GSMdome notes, the new mobile device also arrives on the market with 4G LTE connectivity inside, as well as with the other usual connectivity options, such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC. Moreover, it should also include a built-in GPS receiver for navigation purposes.

Moreover, it features dual-SIM support, while being powered by a massive 4000mAh battery, which should offer long usage times, despite the aforementioned large display. A series of energy-saving features are also included in the package.

According to Lenovo, the new K920 Vibe Z2 Pro is set to become available for purchase in China as soon as September, in black, white, and gold color versions. However, no details on the handset’s pricing have been revealed as of now.

Unfortunately, the Chinese mobile phone maker hasn’t confirmed the device’s availability in more markets, though it is expected to release it in a multitude of countries. Considering the hardware specs inside the phone, we expect it to prove highly popular around the world.
