Chinese mobile phone maker Lenovo is reportedly gearing up for the launch of a new high-end smartphone in the not too distant future, and a leaked benchmark appears to confirm this.

The unannounced device has reportedly emerged in AnTuTu, where some of its hardware specifications have been unveiled to the world.

A leaked screenshot coming from the benchmarking application appears to confirm the fact that this smartphone features the name of Lenovo K7T Kingdom.

As mentioned above, the phone is expected to be launched as a high-end handset, and it could be the first in Lenovo’s lineup to sport a 2K touchscreen display.

The leaked info coming from AnTuTu mentions not only the 2560 x 1440 pixels screen, but also a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor inside the device.

Furthermore, Lenovo is expected to pack the smartphone with 3GB of RAM, the same as Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3, and with 16GB of internal memory.

Should the leaked info pan out, we’ll see the handset released with a 13-megapixel camera on the back, most probably capable of full HD video recording, as well as with a 5MP camera on the front, which should deliver a great experience when it comes to video calling while on the go.

Lenovo’s K7T Kingdom emerged in said benchmark with the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system loaded on top. As GizChina notes, there is also a strong possibility that the new device will hit shelves with support for 4G LTE connectivity packed inside.

Unfortunately, no official confirmation on this smartphone has emerged as of now, and we’ll have to take the info above with a grain of salt for the time being.

One thing that is certain, however, is that Lenovo is certainly preparing a flagship Android smartphone for this year. This means that K7T Kingdom could indeed prove to be that device, so stay tuned to learn more on it.
