Lenovo recently announced its first LTE smartphone, the Vibe Z, and confirmed the device will be available for purchase beginning next month.

Along with the Vibe Z, the Chinese company announced the immediate availability of three affordable Android smartphones, the S930, S650 and A859.

According to the handset maker , the S930 and S650 smartphones cost $320 (€235) and $230 (€170), respectively, and are available immediately in countries where Lenovo smartphones are sold.

The cheaper of the three, Lenovo A859 is also available for purchase beginning today for only $220 (€160). Just like the other two, the A859 has been released “in countries where Lenovo smartphones are sold.”

“Along with the Vibe Z, our new S and A Series smartphones offer consumers choices of screen size and features so they can pick the Lenovo smartphone that’s right for them,” said Liu Jun, senior vice president, Lenovo Business Group, Lenovo.

The better featured of the three Lenovo smartphones, the S930 ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box and boasts a huge 6-inch HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display.

The phablet is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, 1GB of RAM and packs 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

On the back, Lenovo S930 sports an 8-megapixel photo snapper with autofocus, LED flask and video recording, while in the front there's a secondary 1.6-megapixel camera for video calls.

Next in line, the S650 comes with the same specs as Lenovo S930, but packs a much smaller 4.7-inch qHD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

Last but not least, Lenovo A859 comes with the same Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform and packs a large 5-inch HD (720p) capacitive touchscreen display.

The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6582 processor and 1GB of RAM. It also sports 8GB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The A859 also features an enhanced 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back and an 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera. Unlike the other two Lenovo smartphones, the A859 offers dual-SIM support.
