The smartphone will be available through China Unicom

A new Dell Streak clone has just been launched in China, the Lenovo IdeaTab S2005. The smartphone will be available within the next few days via China Unicom carrier.

 

According to the folks over at Engadget, the tablet will be launched as LePad S2005 and is powered by Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread.   In addition, it sports a large 5-inch LTPS capacitive touchscreen display that supports 16 million colors and 480 x 800 pixels resolution.

 

On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.2 GHz dual core Qualcomm processor and packs 1 GB of RAM, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion.

 

There’s also a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back that can capture full HD (1080p) videos, as well as a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera.

 

Connectivity options are all covered, as the smartphone packs HSPA+ and Wi-Fi support, microHDMI and microUSB, along with built-in GPS receiver.
