Some pictures showing the tablets surfaced, but details regarding specs are quite scarce

Lenovo might be hailed as the world’s biggest PC manufacturer, but the company is apparently on its way of becoming an important player in the tablet market, as well. In the few months of year, Lenovo already introduced a refreshed Yoga tablet plus new Miix 2 models, and by the looks of it, more models are on their way.

Italian website Eeevolution managed to get a hold of a number of photos showing three new unannounced tablets, but details are scarce at the moment. It is assumed at least some of the tablets will be Android models, although at least one could be a Windows 8 tablet.

So far the tablets are dubbed the IdeaTab A7, A8 and A10 and they obviously come with 7-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch displays.

The larger of the bunch boasts front-facing speakers, frontal and rear cameras and a keyboard dock, meaning the device can be used in laptop mode whenever needed. Its screen can be flipped around, so the display faces away from the keyboard, a mode to be taken advantage of when watching movies or during a presentation.

A dedicated Windows key can be spotted on the keyboard, but there’s nothing to suggest towards Android, therefore it could be safe to assume the 10-inch is in fact a Windows-based machine.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A7 and A8 also appear to come bundled with frontal and rear cameras plus front-facing speakers. Unlike the 10-incher, these two models appear to be running Android out of the box, coming equipped with microSD card and SIM card slots.

The Lenovo IdeaTab A8 already appears listed on a French retail website. According to the filing, the 8-inch tablet should come with a MediaTek MTK 8121 quad-core processor combined with 1GB of RAM, backed-up 16GB of internal storage.

The tablet should have an IPS display, although we’re not given the resolution, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and dual cameras (5MP on the back and 2MP up in front).

However, the listing doesn't have any pictures attached to it, so it’s pretty hard at this moment to determine whether or not we’re dealing with the same tablet or not. Anyway, the Lenovo IdeaTab A8 should ship for €173 / $247.

Back in February, we told you Lenovo announced a 30% year-over-year increase for their fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2014, a boost owed mostly to the smartphone and tablet department.

Tablet shipments per-se were said to have grown with a whopping 326% year-over-year to a record 3.4 million units. And out of all Lenovo’s tablets, Ashton Kutcher’s Yoga tablet seems to have gained the most traction.
