Although Lenovo has been present on the Indian market for quite some time now, the company has just launched a budget-friendly Android tablet that doesn’t seem to be competitively priced at all.

Lenovo IdeaTab A2107 is now available for purchase in India for Rs 14,000, which is about $255 or €195. The slate is up for sale at major retailers across the country.

Sadly, Lenovo’s tablet ships with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box, though there are quite a few Jelly Bean tablets available in India at much lower prices.

Aside from that, the IdeaTab A2107 sports a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, 1GB of RAM, as well as 3G connectivity. It also features dual cameras (front and rear), along with microSD card slot for memory expansion.
