Priced at $1,599.99, roughly 1,109 EUR and packing a 1.8GHz Core i7 CPU

After becoming available for pre-order on Lenovo’s website at the beginning of this month, the IdeaPad U300s Ultrabook has now arrived in stock at Newegg where is listed at a rather pricy $1,599.99, roughly 1,109 EUR.

Newegg has actually two U300s models available, both featuring the same configuration, but the cheaper $1,449.99 unit is listed as being “out of stock.”

Compared with the model that is available for pre-order from Lenovo’s website, Newegg’s IdeaPad U300s comes with a faster 1.8GHz Core i7 chip and a higher-capacity 256GB SSD, but it looks identical in other respects.

This means that the Intel processor is seconded by 4GB of system memory, while for graphics duty Lenovo has chosen to go with the HD 3000 integrated GPU found inside Intel’s Sandy Bridge CPUs that is paired together with a 13.3-inch screen with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels.

In the connectivity department, the IdeaPad U300s features all the usual 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and Ethernet options, but also includes an USB 3.0 port and support for Intel's WiDi wireless video streaming technology.

An HDMI output is also included and the rest of the specs sheet includes an external DVD writer, a 1.3-megapixel webcam and a battery pack that can provide up to eight hours of operation without requiring a recharge.

To make the U300s Ultrabook even more appealing for its customers, Lenovo has also added to its latest creation a breathable AccuType keyboard paired together with a stylish glass touchpad featuring easy zoom, scroll and rotate functions.

The $1,199 IdeaPad U300s notebook that is available on Lenovo’s online shop comes with a 1.6GHz Core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 128GB solid-state drive, and a four-cell lithium-polymer battery.
