Looking to purchase a decent budget tablet, but you would like to stick to brand vendors? Look no further than Lenovo.

The company is taking advantage of Twitter to advertise its latest set of promotions in the tablet department. The offer is quite extended and includes the IdeaTab A1000, A3000, S5000 and S6000 models. But sadly they apply only to US customers.

Anyway, for those of you who need a refresh regarding the specs of the tablets, here we go. Let’s start with the cheapest of the bunch, the Lenovo IdeaTab A1000.

The slate comes with a 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. Power is drawn from a dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex A9 processor fitted with PowerVR SGX531u with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (increase via microSD card to 32GB).

The tablet runs Android 4.1, but it’s upgradable to 4.2 Jelly Bean. The model is now available for $99 / €72.

Moving on, we have the IdeaTab A3000, which comes with the same 7-inch screen but has a better processor onboard, in the form of quad-core MediaTek MT8125 CPU working in concert with a PowerVR SGX544 GPU.

The slate also has 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage and unlike the A1000, capacity can be increased up to 64GB via the microSD.

The new price for the Lenovo IdeaTab A3000 is now set at $149 / €108.

Another 7-incher is the Lenovo S5000, which has a slightly better display, meaning an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution (approx. 216 ppi).

The powerhouse of the slate is either a quad-core Mediatek MT8125 or MT8389 processor fitted with PowerVR SGX544MP2. Furthermore, the tablet is equipped with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via 64GB via microSD).

The S5000 runs Android 4.2, but the Android 4.3 update is available. The slate is up for purchase for $169 / €123.

Last but not least, the largest of the bunch is the IdeaTab S6000, which has a 10.1-inch IPS LCD touch-screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

It draws power from a quad-core MediaTek MT8389 processor coupled with PowerVR SG544MP2 GPU and also has 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB). The slate will ship out with Android 4.2.2 out of box and can be currently grabbed from Lenovo for $219 / €159.

So if one of these models sound good to you, you can order one via the Lenovo official US webstore.
