14 DAY TRIAL // Chinese company Lenovo, one of world's leaders in the laptop/notebook market and recently top 5 smartphone manufacturer, has just confirmed it will bring Android 5.0 Lollipop to seven handsets.
All handsets mentioned are now powered by Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, and according to Lenovo, they will receive Lollipop 5.0 sometime in Q2 2015.
Judging by Lenovo's Android upgrade roadmap that's been published on the company's official website, these are the only smartphones to receive Lollipop, while the rest will remain on KitKat or older versions of the OS.
Long story short, here are the seven smartphones lucky enough to be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop in the coming months: Lenovo A5000, Lenovo A6000, Lenovo P70-A, Lenovo S90-A, Lenovo Vibe X2, Lenovo Vibe Z2 and Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro.
If you've bought one of the smartphones above from a carrier, then don't hold your breath as Lenovo states that the Lollipop 5.0 update will only be applied to the models bought from retail market.

According to the Chinese company, operator-customized or contract models are not covered, which means they might as well never receive the Android 5.0 Lollipop upgrade.
It's also worth mentioning that the tentative release dates announced by Lenovo may be subject to change and that the actual launch date will be announced closer to release.
We would also like to warn Lenovo smartphone users that the Lolipop 5.0 update will arrive on their devices OTA (over the air), but depending on the country they might be available sooner or later since the Chinese company announces its release.
