As most of you out there have already realized, since you’re probably barely holding your breath as we speak, the Christmas Holidays aren't all that far ahead, which means it's a good time for most of you to refresh their wishlists, and maybe even consider some of the new arrivals in the computer market. Aside from a bucketload of new graphics cards, mobile phones and other gizmos and gadgets, some computer systems vendors have already updated their PC offers with new models and configurations. Lenovo also happens to be one such vendor and it has recently introduced the new H210 desktop PC that comes with a most interesting starting price tag.

The thing about Lenovo's latest desktop configuration is that it has been designed specifically for regular consumers – more precisely, for those computer users out there that require a decent performance that would enable the tackling of the basics in everyday computing. This is why the H210 comes with a starting price point of only $399, which makes it compete with some of the low-power, small-sized nettops we've got to see just recently.

The system itself has been designed to provide a number of features and functionalities that can allow users to easily connect different devices, such as cameras, printers and scanners, which, in turn, add more functionalities to Lenovo's desktop system. In addition, according to the vendor, the H210 has been equipped with a built-in media panel that features a card reader with support for up to 16 different media cards. The panel is installed on the front of the system for easier accessibility.

Lenovo hasn't fully detailed the technical specifications of the new H210, but it did mention support for Intel's latest Core 2 Duo processors, up to 640GB of storage space and 4GB of memory, just enough to allow a high-performance Windows Vista experience. As far as availability goes, the desktop is now on sale in the United States for the aforementioned starting price tag.
