A new all-in-one computer has been released by Lenovo, one that tries to combine all the best assets of their kind in one, thin, adjustable package.

Called A Series A540, it is “built for families” and has an aluminum body that holds an Intel CPU (up to Core i7), NVIDIA Graphics (up to GeForce GT 840A), JBL speakers (with Dolby Home Theater), NFC (Near Field Communications) and an optional TV tuner.

It also comes with 20 pre-loaded games and education apps, all running on Windows 8.1 operating system.

As for display, it is a 23.8-inch full HD panel (24-inch 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution) and has a bezel of just 4 mm at the edge.

Furthermore, the A540 AiO supports 10-point multitouch input (pretty standard, and necessary, for Windows 8/8.1) and the screen can adjust, angle-wise, from -5° to 90°.

Finally, Lenovo included a special treat in the form of Lenovo Motion Control technology, which allows you to control the system without touching anything. 12 gestures are recognized at this time (to adjust volume, move through a photo gallery, play/control a video/film are the most notable uses.).

The Lenovo A540 all-in-one PC should have a price of $1,279.99 / €1,279.99 and will start shipping in July.
