It appears that a new photo has emerged on Mobile01 that features the upcoming Leica Nocticron 42,5mm f/1.2 lens mounted on a GX7 Panasonic camera.

Announced back in August, the new Leica Nocticron 42,5mm f/1.2 lens is designed to be used with any Panasonic and Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera system where it has an effective focal length of 85mm.

At this focal length and with a maximum aperture of f/1.2, the new Leica Nocticron 42,5mm f/1.2 lens is perfect for portrait shots and low-light artistic photos.

Judging by the leaked picture, we can clearly see that this lens is huge and makes the Panasonic GX7 look rather unbalanced.

43rumors has found out that the new Leica lens will ship in early 2014, but more details about the lens or its price are still unknown. Stay tuned as we try to learn more about the upcoming Leica Nocticron 42,5mm f/1.2 lens.
