You might remember that not so long ago, Leica pulled the new Leica T camera out of the bag in order to celebrate 100 years of existence.

Now, the German photo gear manufacturer has partnered up with Nordisk Foto Import in order to launch the Silver Anniversary Edition of the Leica M Monochrom camera, says LeicaRumors.

The camera arrives just in time to celebrate Nordisk Foto Import’s 25th anniversary. Happy Birthday!

The new model doesn't arrive in black as the original, but in silver/Aztec beige and is only limited to 25 units. Leica also offers a beige leather strap in the bundle plus a special serial number stamp which shows the exact model.

More than that, the Leica M camera will ship out to customers with a Leica Summilux M-1.4/35 ASPH Silver Lens, coming in silver in order to match the “stellar” color of the body.

Apart from the extra accessories and new paint job, the Monochrom remains the same camera as before. The shooter features an 18MP sensor, 2.5-inch display, SD/SDHC card support, ISO up to 10,000 and comes with support for RAW.

For those of you considering getting this special edition, note the Leica M is only available in Denmark and Sweden for the price of $21,000 / €15,307.
